It can benefit you in more ways than one! Firstly using an exfoliator gets rid of your dead skin cells, making your skin appear smoother. But secondly, it also works to pull your hair follicles upwards, allowing you to get a closer, cleaner cut. Just apply some facial wash onto a cleansing brush and work it into your skin before your shave.
A GOOD MIRROR
This is important! You don’t want to be hanging out of the shower, clutching onto the shower curtain for dear life, just to see yourself in the mirror across the bathroom. It only ends badly trust us. So make sure you have a good shaving mirror ready in your shower- and if possible a steam-free mirror.
ANTI-SLIP GRIP
A shaver with anti-slip grip is very important when shaving in the shower. With water added into the mix, things could get very slippery! You want to make sure you have a firm and comfortable grip on your shaver to allow you maximum control.
MOISTURISE
We know what you’re thinking- this step isn’t necessary, but actually it could be the most significant. Putting on a shave balm or moisturiser after grooming, helps to close your pores and stops you breaking out into a rash. But if that isn’t reason enough, moisturising can also keep your skin looking youthful; an important benefit as the years do creep up on us!
