3 Easy to do styles for afro hair

Dads your little ones hair is in your hands today but don’t worry because we’ve got the styles and tips to help you. We know that when it comes to styling your little one’s hair you need to be two things – gentle and quick. That’s why we’ve designed easy hairstyles for dads to do using the Tangled 2 Smooth Electric Brush so you can tame the tangles without any tears.

Now we know styling afro hair can be a little complex but don’t worry we’ve got you covered with three easy hairstyles for little girls. But before we get started let’s talk about taking care of the one major struggle with brushing afro hair – the frizz.  We suggest before starting to style your little one’s hair make sure that you have the right product or a water spray to hand because styling afro hair is a lot easier to handle when its wet.

 

The Kit

  • Tangled 2 Smooth Electric Brush
  • Hairspray
  • Bobbles

Bunches

  • Start by brushing through the hair using the Tangled 2 Smooth Electric Brush to remove any knots.
  • Next split the hair into two sections by making a central parting down the middle of the hair.
  • Gather one side of the hair into your hand and brush the hair in 4 strokes: the top, each side and the bottom.  
  • Next secure the hair in place by tying a bobble around the bunch.
  • Repeat the same step on the other side so you’re left with two bunches.
  • Finish by adding some hair accessories like hair clips or hair flowers.

Ponytail

  • Start by using your Tangled 2 Smooth Electric Brush to brush through the hair and remove any tangles.
  • Next put the bobble over one wrist and gather the hair together, holding it in place with the same hand.
  • Gently brush the hair in 4 simple steps: the top, the sides and the underneath until the hair is neatly combed up into your hand.
  • Finally using your spare hand pull the bobble over the hand it’s on and around the hair, twist it around until it feels tight enough to secure the hair.
  • Finish by adding some hair accessories like hair clips or hair flowers.

Bun

  • Start by brushing through the hair using your Tangled 2 Smooth Electric Brush.
  • Next put the bobble over one wrist and gather the hair together holding it in that same hand.
  • Gently brush the hair in 4 simple steps: the top, the sides and the underneath until the hair is neatly combed up into your hand.
  • Using your spare hand pull the bobble over the hand it’s on and around the hair, twist it around until it feels tight.
  • Take the hair donut and thread the ponytail through the whole until the donut is at the top of the head. 
  • Finally spread the ponytail over the donut until it’s covered, then neatly took the hair underneath the donut and secure with hair grips.
